Vibrant, enthusiastic, thoughtful and downright adorable are perfect words to describe this graduate, coworker, and friend. We've snuck out of the tour guide office on frozen yogurt missions, laughed about life, planned Vegas trips, covered each other's tours when we're sick, and have had enough derpy moments to last a lifetime. Aimee's smile is contagious and I was so lucky to get to spend time with her just hours before her graduation ceremony. I'd like to say it was self-less but really, I just wanted to hang out with this beam of sunshine a bit more. :D
We visited all her stomping grounds during her time at UCSD as an Eleanor Roosevelt College student and the nostalgia was tangible. It was a beautiful - albeit fast - shoot spent reminiscing old times as we counted down the minutes to her actual graduation just across the campus at RIMAC. Aimee was a trooper as we sprinted from place to place, her gown billowing behind her like a superhero grad cape. We snapped, she posed (the girl could be a model) and then it was one last bear hug and she was off to walk across the stage and claim her degree. Whooo! Congratulations, pretty lady. We'll miss you, but you're off to bigger and other beautiful things.
